The game is good but not always the best. This is the current Mario Kart game but Nintendo put on a little twist. The Karts have 2 different racers, that is were the game has it's flaws. Certain characters can't go together. For instance if you want a team with 2 large racers the game won't let you, like Bowser and Donkey Kong. Those 2 could make a great team but you can't have them together the rest of the game is o.k.

Double Dash is an excellent cart racing game, and it is definitely the best cart racer out on the market as of right now. That said, it could be better (and I hope that when they make a version for the Wii, they make it better!). It's a lot of fun as a multiplayer game; not so much fun as a single player game--it needs some changes in that area to make it a little more interesting, I think. It is the same basic challenge as the other Mario Kart games--come in first place on all the races to get the trophies to open up the rest of the game.

For this game, you must have two racers in your cart--it would have been nice if there was an option to change this. But, it does add an interesting twist to the game and the way it is played. Most everything else about this game is very similar to previous Mario Kart games, so if you have enjoyed those, you will enjoy this one as well.

Warming up to Double Dash

Let's face it: I'm an old school gamer who loved Mario Kart on the SNES and N64. When I first played Double Dash, I was a little irked with the new features like having a 2nd character on your cart. BUT, after playing it for a while, I do have to crown this one as champion over the older Mario Karts. It's just a blast to play this game, whether single player or with your buddies. Go get this game now!

Two racers on your cart, twice the fun!

Amazing Mariokart game, and I know... I've played EVERY single Mariokart game out there and I'd have to say this is the best. I admit when I heard about 2 characters per cart I was very suspicious, however Nintendo proved me wrong, having the second person on your cart adds some nice depth and strategy. Also, the new specials are great! There's also so much to unlock, you'll be playing it for a while.

Graphics: 9.5/10 Crisp, clean, beautiful.
Sound: 9/10
Gameplay: 9.75/10
Multi-Player: 10/10

Overal: 9.75/10, easily one of the best games out there.

once you have played this game you obviously know that it is the best mario kart game up to date... the RPV for this game is amazing and the multiplay is obviously great. overall a 10/10

it is the best mario kart so far, and there are four classes that you can play in: 50cc, 100cc, 150cc and mirror. the graphics are awesome just like the game itself!

Mario Kart Double Dash is a great game to play with friends. You can race or have battles. The best part is that you can have two characters, one drives and the other throws items! There are unlockable cars and drivers that can be unlocked through single player.

I have not played the previous Mario Kart games so I cant judge this against the others, I found this to be a great pick-up-and-play game, and a fun multiplayer mode as well.

this is a fun game that can keep you entertained for hours on end, with its 16 different tracks on 3 different difficulties, all the fun cars, exciting special attacks, insane characters, wild tracks, and confusing mirror mode. You can even play with another person throughout races, opening another 64 differing tracks/levels/difficulties.

Just like all the other Mario Karts, this is surperb!! Hours and hours of fun. Get a couple of friends together and beat them down! This title is great for kids too! I suggest if you haven't tried this title... go out and get it! You haven't lived if you haven't played this game using the gamecube steering wheel!! Try it! This is WELL worth the retail cost.

I have always been a big fan of the Mario Kart series, and each release has been better than the last. This is no exception. Mario Kart Double Dash includes all of the classic elements that made the Super NES and N64 versions so much fun--wacky cast of characters, cool weapons, intense battle mode, very enjoyable Grand Prix mode--and yet manages to improve in almost every aspect of the game.

mario kart double dash is a great game. it features loads of characters to race as and each person has a number of vehicles to choose from, each with strengths and weaknesses about them. there are also quite a few levels to play and unlockand the multiplayer never gets tiring. and the two racers at once both with there own specials is awsome. for the story id give it 8 out of 10

sound 8 out of 10
controls 9.5 out of 10 (incredibly easy to catch on to)

This game is definitely one of the best agmes I've ever played. The fact that you and a friend can team up together on one kart makes this a very enjoyable way to spend your time. The graphics are awesome, and you'll wanna play it again and again. Since there are different player levels, 50 cc 100cc and 150 cc, no one will find it too hard or too easy. It's awesome!

This game the fun never ends. I have hade this game for 5 years and still play it a lot. My friends and I always like to play the multiplayer. Also, the battle modes are fun.
